I don’t think I’ve picked a New Jersey Devil player as half of my goal scorer parlay yet this season, which is surprising since they’re an above-average offensive team. However, one of their players has a hot stick heading into action tomorrow night, so I can ignore them no more.
That player would be first-line center Nico Hischier. The former #1 overall draft pick only has nine goals this season; however, six of them have come over his last 10 games.
Pittsburgh Penguins vs Philadelphia Flyers
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Next, we head to the Battle of Pennsylvania, where I’m going in on another former #1 overall pick. That would be the ageless Sid ‘The Kid’ Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Crosby has only topped 50 goals in a season once in his stellar career, but with 16 goals already this season (and seven over his last 10 games), the all-time great is on pace for 55 this year.
