Feast Week is winding down, but we still have a handful of college hoops MTEs that are wrapping up. The remaining MTE matchups plus a few non-conference games make for a solid, but smaller than usual, Saturday schedule. We still went through the schedule and found a trio of college basketball picks that you’ll want to make sure you have action on.

Matt Dewoskin ATS College Basketball Picks Record (Est 11/3/2025)
All ATS Selections: 44-32-2
Perfect 3-0 Cards: 3-22
Manhattan at Army
Start Time: 1:00 PM EST
This game is not a part of an MTE. It will be played in West Point, NY at the Christi Arena.
Army enters this game with a 2-6 overall record. The Black Knights are 1-2 at home. Their only home win came against a lower division team. Army is off a road win at Fairleigh Dickinson.
The Manhattan Jaspers come into this matchup with a 3-4 overall record and a 0-3 road record. This is the first road win. Manhattan is coming off an overtime loss at home against Wagner.
The Jaspers have a solid offense that should be able to score against a defense as poor as the one they’re facing in Army. Manhattan doesn’t have the best defensive record, but Army only scored more than 80 points once this year. It came against a Fairleigh Dickinson defense that is somehow worse than Army’s. Manhattan can score, and Army really can’t is the handicap. Look for the Jaspers’ offense to carry them to a win and cover on the road against the Black Knights.
Best Bet: Manhattan -1.5
Howard at Mount St. Mary’s
Start Time: 4:00 PM EST
This game is not a part of an MTE. It’s a true home game for Mount St. Mary’s.
Howard comes into this matchup with a 4-4 overall record and a 0-2 road record. The Bison got blown out by Duke at Cameron Indoor Arena and lost by four to Stetson.
Mount St. Mary’s enters this game with a 1-6 overall record and a 0-1 record at home. The Mountaineers lost to Bucknell in their own building.
The handicap here is simple. We have a Mount St. Mary’s team looking for its first home win against an HBCU school. Second, we have a Howard team that has shown it can drop games on the road against low-majors. Third, the Mount has a majority veteran roster, including starting guards who have spent multiple years in the program. Howard has a younger roster that has only traveled a couple of times so far this year. The Mount is the side we want in this situation.
When it comes to an offense/defense perspective, these teams aren’t that different. Metrics give a slight edge to Mount St. Mary’s, but they’re not needle-movers. The home floor, veteran roster, and the situation give the advantage to the Mountaineers. Let’s lock up Mount St. Mary’s to get their first home win and cover the 3.5 points.
Best Bet: Mount St. Mary’s -3.5
UMKC at Weber State
Start Time: 4:00 PM EST
This game is not part of an MTE. It is a true home game for Weber State and will be played in Ogden, UT.
Kansas City comes into this one at 1-5 with four losses coming on the road. The Roos have lost every road game by at least 13 points. Weber State is 2-4 with a 2-1 home record. The Wildcats are coming off a one-point home loss to UT-Arlington.
Kansas City struggles to score, defends poorly, and may have one of the worst back courts in the nation. They also have to travel to elevation on the fourth leg of an extended road trip.
Weber State has a capable offense and gets to play on its home floor. If the Wildcats are sinking shots, they could win this by 20. Let’s lock up the Wildcats at home to win by double-digits against a Kansas City that’s a bottom-30 team in the nation. The Roos are also traveling to a tough place to play after a brutal travel schedule.
Best Bet: Weber State -10.5
