Matt Dewoskin ATS College Basketball Picks Record (Est 11/3/2025)
All ATS Selections: 41-27-1
Perfect 3-0 Cards: 3-19
Troy at St. Francis (PA)
Start Time: 11:00 AM EST
This game is a part of the Coconut Hoops MTE in Fort Myers, FL.
St. Francis (PA) is a bottom-10 team in the nation right now and probably for the foreseeable future. The Red Flash have failed to cover in all five games they’ve played this year. They can’t score, and they can’t really defend. The team is also heading to DII next year, so there’s not a lot of motivation for this team to try. St. Francis (PA) just lost their first game in this MTE to Belmont by 37 points.
Troy has been up and down this year, but they’ve played in a few early-season battles with quality mid-majors. Troy is good enough offensively to cover the 21.5 points, but they can also play enough defense to mess with a terrible St. Francis (PA) team. They have a deeper roster and more athleticism than St. Francis (PA).
Let’s lock up Troy to roll in this one. Troy will not only win, but they should be relatively sweat-free.
Best Bet: Troy -21.5
Buffalo at Bucknell
Start Time: 1:30 PM EST
This game will be played in Fort Myers, FL at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena. This is a part of the Fort Myers Tipoff MTE.
Buffalo has been a complete ATS darling. The Bulls are a perfect 5-0 on the season, as it appears that books and pundits alike have underrated Buffalo in the preseason.
Buffalo has won and covered all five games they’ve played in. They’ve won every game by more than three points so far. We’re going to continue riding with the Bulls against a Bucknell team that had to replace a lot in the offseason and has really struggled at times.
Bucknell 2-5 overall and 3-4 ATS. The Bison have dropped five in a row, including a five-point loss to Bowling Green in their first game in the Fort Myers Tipoff.
Buffalo can really fill it up on offense, and Bucknell has really struggled to put the ball in the hole. Buffalo has a better roster and superior athletes. Let’s lock up the Bulls and keep riding a team that books have struggled to price.
Best Bet: Buffalo -3
Denver at Wyoming
Start Time: 8:30 PM EST
This game is not a part of an MTE. It will be played in Laramie, WY as a true home game for Wyoming.
Denver has been one of the early-season ATS darlings. The Pioneers are 5-1 ATS to start the year. Their only miss was an outright loss to UTSA as a 4.5-point favorite. They’ve been awesome as an underdog. Let’s keep riding with the hot hand.
Denver can score and tends to keep games close. They got blown out by a superior Arizona team, but still managed to cover. The Pioneers also lost to Washington by 14, but still covered the 27.5-point spread. Denver’s offense has been clicking, and they can do enough on defense to make it a challenge for opponents to score.
Wyoming has only covered two of its first five games with lines this year. The Cowboys are also a bit offensively challenged and can hit a scoring drought from time to time. Denver is used to the elevation, so the home court won’t be as much of an advantage for Wyoming here. Look for Denver to keep this one close, go on runs where they can, and end the game within 8.5 points. Let’s lock up the Pioneers to get the cover.
Best Bet: Denver +8.5
