Matt Dewoskin ATS College Basketball Picks Record (Est 11/3/2025)

All ATS Selections: 34-25-1
Perfect 3-0 Cards: 2-18

Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Miami (OH)

Start Time: 1:00 PM EST

This game is an actual home game for Miami(OH). This is not a part of an MTE.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff is playing its eighth straight road game. They are 0-7 with six out of seven losses by 20 points or more. The Golden Lions just lost to Marshall by 28 on Thursday.

The line is a little short because Miami(OH) hasn’t looked amazing for a veteran team looking to make some noise in the MAC. The Redhawks beat Old Dominion by 15 in their season opener, but struggled in elevation against Air Force and almost got clipped by Mercyhurst.

For a team that’s 4-0, Miami(OH) looks like it needs a get-right spot. Enter Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Golden Lions are near the end of their world tour. The Redhawks need a blowout before they head to Jacksonville next week. Miami(OH) has a solid, veteran group that came in second in the MAC last year and should contend for the conference championship.

Lock up the Redhawks to wreck the road-weary Golden Lions and cover the number.

Best Bet: Miami(OH) -22.5

Queens at Furman

Start Time: 5:00 PM EST

This game is a part of the ASUN/SoCon Challenge, but it’s not part of a tournament. This is a true home game for Furman.

Queens is 0-2 in two true road games. They lost by 20 to Villanova in their first road game, but took Duquesne to overtime in their second road game.

Furman has played three home games. They lost by three to Troy, but beat a pair of lower division teams by a lot.

The handicap here is that these teams aren’t that different in terms of quality, and 6.5 points is too many for Furman to lay even at home. Queens has scored at least 80 points in each of their last three games, including over 100 against UNC-Greensboro. Queens can fill it up, and their offense should keep them in this. Furman isn’t quite as explosive and chooses to grind teams out. If this is played at Furman’s pace, it will be a one or two-possession game. Let’s lock up Queens catching 6.5 points, and consider a money line sprinkle.

Best Bet: Queens +6.5

Northwestern at South Carolina

Start Time: 5:00 PM EST

This game is a part of the Greenbrier Tip-Off. They’ll play this matchup at Colonial Hall in Sulfur Springs, WV.

Northwestern comes into this one averaging 83.0 points per game through five games this year. They’ve scored higher than 72.5 points in each of their last four games.

South Carolina has allowed opponents to average 69.8 points per game through their first five games. They kept Radford at 58 and Presbyterian at 61 points in Columbia, SC. However, Butler just hung 78 on the Gamecocks, and they allowed Southern Miss to get to 79 points.

Northwestern has a top-60 offense in the country. The Wildcats are also the best offense that South Carolina has played this year. Lock up the Wildcats to get over 72.5 in their second game in Sulfur Springs.

Best Bet: Northwestern Team Total Over 72.5
