Miami Heat vs Philadelphia 76ers
Start Time – 1:00 PM EST
Could the Miami Heat be actually good?! The advanced stats surely think so, ranking the Heat as the top team in the Eastern Conference. And their 10-6 record isn’t too shabby either. All of this without their ‘franchise player’, Tyler Herro, seeing any action yet this season.
While the Philadelphia 76ers are a feel-good story this season, I’m still not sold. And they will be without Joel Embiid, Kelly Oubre Jr., and possibly VJ Edgecombe, tomorrow afternoon. My line is Miami -3, so I’ll gladly take the visitors plus the points.
Best Bet: Miami +1.5 (-110)
Charlotte Hornets vs Atlanta Hawks
Start Time – 6:00 PM EST
The spread we’re getting for this game, as the Charlotte Hornets visit the Atlanta Hawks on the second night of a back-to-back, seems like a gift. Even though the Hawks are somehow only 2-4 at home (8-3 on the road), and are still without Trae Young (they’re 8-4 without him this season).
Taking all these factors into account, my line is Atlanta -12, so as I said above, we’re getting a gift of a line for the Hawks. ‘Tis the season (almost), I guess.
