Dallas Stars vs Tampa Bay Lightning
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
I don’t need an 11-game slate to pick a couple of goal scorers for a winning parlay – I can do it with one game. And that one game goes down tomorrow in Tampa as the 6-3-1 Dallas Stars visit the 4-4-2 Tampa Bay Lightning.
Two of the league leaders in Expected Goals are playing in this game, and both of them have been victims of some bad luck in the early goings of the NHL season. But you always have to expect things to revert to the mean sooner rather than later.
Ok, now for the important part: the players. For the visiting Dallas Stars, I’m going with Jason Robertson to find the back of the net tomorrow night. He only has three goals this season, but he’s projected to have 7.6; he’s due for things to swing in his favor. The same can be said for the Lightning’s Jake Guentzel. Guentzel has four goals this season, but should have 7.4.
