Los Angeles Dodgers vs Toronto Blue Jays
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
It’s a nice story that the Toronto Blue Jays have returned to the World Series for the first time since 1993. But the Cinderella story (despite being a major market team with a huge payroll) ends now. The Los Angeles Dodgers are a juggernaut that can not be stopped.
The Philadelphia Phillies are the only team that managed to get a win off the Dodgers these playoffs, and after sweeping the Milwaukee Brewers, the Dodgers have been chilling at home for a week waiting to see who they have to beat next. That’s the Jays’ only hope – that the Dodgers have some rust to knock off in Game 1.
But I don’t expect that. I have more faith in Blake Snell than rookie Trey Yesavage starting tomorrow night, and the Jays have shown to be vulnerable at home during the postseason. The Dodgers play the villains tomorrow night in Rogers Centre.
