There are quite a few surprising names near the top of the NHL’s goals leaderboard in the early days of this season, none more so than the man in first place. I’m counting on him keeping the good times rolling tomorrow night. NHL Goal Scorer Parlay For Monday (October 20th): NHL Predictions
Edmonton Oilers vs Ottawa Senators
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Who had Shane Pinto leading the NHL in scoring on their bingo card for this season?! After topping out at 21 goals last season, a career high, Pinto already has found the back of the net seven times in six games this season.
Pinto has a 33.3% shooting percentage this season, an absurdly high rate that is bound to go down. Let’s hope that doesn’t start tomorrow.
Colorado Avalanche vs Utah Mammoth
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
Seeing the Colorado Avalanche’s Nathan MacKinnon among the league leaders in goals, however, comes as no surprise. The former league MVP averages 35 goals per game over his lengthy NHL career.
MacKinnon is netting 24% of his shots, which is also extremely high and bound to go down. He’s also not going to average a goal per game, as he is currently (six in six games). But he’s going to find paydirt tomorrow night in Salt Lake City.
