Las Vegas Aces vs Indiana Fever
Start Time: 7:30 PM EST
As I did with Game 2 of this WNBA Playoff semifinal series, I’m fading the Indiana Fever. I said before Game 2 that there was no way that the Fever should keep winning with six of their players on the injured list, including Caitlin Clark. And now Lexie Hull is banged up, but expected to play in Game 3.
Well, the Fever’s chariot turned into a pumpkin in Game 2, as the Las Vegas Aces spanked them by 22 points. That makes the Aces’ current run 19-2 over their last 21 games. Will the Fever being at home in Game 3 change anything? I doubt it. At least nothing that’ll stop Las Vegas from covering the spread.
The Aces are 13-9 away from Las Vegas, so they’re a very strong road team. A 4.5-point spread on the road shouldn’t be an issue for a team with this level of firepower.
