Indiana Fever vs Los Angeles Sparks
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
Not only are the Los Angeles Sparks famously (at least in this space) terrible at home (7-11 at home, 10-8 on the road), but they are also a sieve on defense, home or away. The Sparks give up a league-worst 88.6 points per game and have the second-worst defensive rating in the WNBA.
So you can expect a high-scoring shootout anytime the Sparks take the floor. And my player prop bet plays right into that (it would be strange if it didn’t after that setup). The Indiana Fever are still without four key players, most notably Caitlin Clark, but they’re still keeping their heads above water.
A big reason for that is three-time All-Star Kelsey Mitchell, who is scoring a career-best 20.7 points per game this season. And she’s been on a tear lately, going for 21+ in four straight games and six of her last seven. She also dropped 30 on Los Angeles the last time she saw them. Look for Mitchell to light up the scoreboard tomorrow night.
