I’m hitting up West Sacramento for my daily best bet far more often than I ever would have dreamed a few years ago. But now that the (name redacted) Athletics are residing in the city, and the A’s suck at home, I’ve had plenty of playable lines to get in on.
Tomorrow would be one of those playable lines I’m speaking of. But I don’t get why it’s so playable. But I also don’t see anything that I’m missing or overlooking, so I’m going with it.
While they are no longer the top team in the majors as they had been for most of the season, the Detroit Tigers are still among the elite. And they’re better on the road (34-30) than the Athletics are at home (27-37).
Plus, Detroit sends Casey Mize, who is having an All-Star season, to the hill tomorrow to start against the unproven Luis Morales – all this and a very favorable betting line for us.
