Cincinnati Reds vs Los Angeles Angels

While we’re giving and receiving apologies, the Cincinnati Reds owe me an apology as well, as they are the team that beat the Brewers on Sunday and mushed my best bet for the day. But, as they say, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.
So we’re going in on the Reds on Monday as they visit the Los Angeles Angels to kick off a three-game interleague series. Cincinnati is a low-key good team, with the advanced stats ranking them as the ninth-best team in the majors this season. And the Angels are the Angels, ranking near the dregs of the league.
But Los Angeles is pretty good at home, which might explain why we’re getting a nice playable line for the Reds. Cincinnati is the superior team with the better starting pitcher tomorrow (Brady Singer vs Victor Mederos), so they’re my best bet for Monday.
