I’m on a bit of a roll, finally, with my MLB daily best bets. But we’re not being given much to work with tomorrow, with only four games on the MLB slate, and wide odds for a couple of them. For my best bet for Thursday, August 7th: MLB Predictions, we’re off to Nationals Park in Washington, D.C., for a truly dreadful matchup (but at least the odds are decent). Let’s go!

The (West Sacramento) Athletics vs the Washington Nationals. That’s what we have to resort to tomorrow. But we don’t necessarily watch the game to bet on it, right?! Right.
That’s because both of these teams suck. Bottom of the league suck, in fact, with the advanced stats ranking the Nationals 29th and the Athletics 28th. Only the miserable Colorado Rockies are keeping these two teams out of the bottom spot. But when two crappy teams play, someone has to win.
And that team tomorrow should be the Athletics. They beat the Nationals 16-7 in Game 1 of this series, and not only are they the better team by almost half a run a game, but they also have the better pitcher starting on the mound tomorrow (Jacob Lopez vs. Mitchell Parker).
