Milwaukee Brewers vs Atlanta Braves
Start Time: Monday – 7:15 PM EST
As I mentioned in my best bet article, the Atlanta Braves starting pitcher tomorrow, Erick Fedde, isn’t having himself much of a season. He started the year lousy with the St. Louis Cardinals and has continued that trend since joining the Braves, adding up to a line of 3-11, 5.33 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and a -0.2 WAR. It’s not a pretty sight.
And Fedde will surely not be looking forward to facing the Milwaukee Brewers’ William Contreras on Monday. That’s because the backstop has feasted off Fedde’s pitching over his career, to the tune of .563/.579/1.000 in 19 plate appearances. I’m counting on more of the same tomorrow as the Brewers and Braves open a three-game series Down South.
Contreras has been hot lately, with four multi-hit games in his last five, including a five-hit gem on Friday against the Washington Nationals.
