The wait is over, football fans! The NFL is back. The yearly NFL Hall of Fame Game will take place Thursday night, July 31st, in Canton, Ohio. Can you even call yourself a Degen if you aren’t playing Underdog Fantasy on the first NFL action of the season? I think not! Let’s dive in and take a look at the 2025 NFL Hall of Fame Game Underdog Fantasy picks.
The Los Angeles Chargers and Detroit Lions are this year’s Hall of Fame Game teams. A battle of two hard-nosed coaches who don’t know when to quit. Both Jim Harbaugh and Dan Campbell should be entertaining in and of themselves, and that should keep it exciting. It looks like it’ll be a battle of Trey Lance (Chargers) vs Henson Hooker (Lions) as the starters at quarterback. This is one of the more intriguing quarterback matchups, maybe ever in the HOF game.
Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. ET Thursday, July 31st, from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. The stadium is located just next door to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. The game will air on NBC and also be available to stream on Peacock.

2025 NFL Hall of Fame Game Underdog Fantasy Picks
Trey Lance Higher Than 27.5 Rushing Yards
I know he didn’t turn out to be the fantasy quarterback we all wanted him to be. But I love the rushing upside of Trey Lance. Lance played in three games last preseason for the Dallas Cowboys and cruised past this number each time. Lance started the Week 18 game against the Commanders last year and ran for 26 yards on just six carries. In a Week 10 cleanup appearance against the Super Bowl Champion Eagles, Lance ran for 17 yards on just three carries. It won’t take him many attempts to get to 28 yards on Thursday night.

Tre’ Harris Higher Than 12.5 Receiving Yards
The rookie wide receiver is set to make his debut on Thursday night, and the team will certainly want to look his way to get him a few reps. I wouldn’t expect him to be in the game too long, but he’s going to be one of the top options in this offense in 2025. It’s paramount that the Chargers get him a few catches to get him comfortable.
Sione Vaki Higher Than 26.5 Rushing Yards
The Lions running back was a preseason darling last year, where he averaged 5.1 yards per carry in the 2024 preseason. Vaki should be the third running back behind Sonic and Knuckles in Detroit, and now is the young running back’s chance to prove he should be the next man up.
Isaac TeSlaa Higher Than 14.5 Receiving Yards
Outside of Trey Lance, I don’t think there’s a player I’m more excited to see Thursday night than TeSlaa. This kid is big, fast, and strong. I gobbled up as much of him in dynasty rookie drafts as I possibly could earlier this summer. TeSlaa has been proving himself in camp already, looking great, and I believe he’ll be the number one option Thursday night. It’s TeSlaa time!
If Isaac TeSlaa is learning release packages, it’s over for everyone else
The guy is huge, fast as hell, and has incredible hands.
One of my favorite players in this draft and a potential stud if he continues to learn the nuances of the position. pic.twitter.com/h0ojEncyB7— Joe (@JoeA_NFL) July 26, 2025
Putting these four plays together gives you 12x your entry fee on Underdog Fantasy! A $10 entry would pay out a cool $120.
