The Bulls cashed for us as underdogs on Monday thanks to the play from Matas Buzelis and Noa Essengue. Now we’re trying to build a win streak, and there is plenty to choose from because we have 14 teams in action on Tuesday. We’ve dug through all of the action for Tuesday’s games to get you a winner. Here’s my NBA Summer League prediction and best bet for Tuesday, July 15th.
NBA Summer League Predictions & Preview For July 15th
Oklahoma City Thunder vs Orlando Magic
Start Time: 10:00 PM EST
The Thunder have gotten off to a, well, thunderous start to the Vegas Summer League. They are not only 2-0, but are winning games by an average margin of 14 points. The best part is that the success is coming from a number of places, so you don’t really have to worry about them getting cold.
Nikola Topic seems to be the real deal when it comes to dishing the ball. He’s averaging 8.0 assists a game and 12.5 points. You’ve also got the likes of Chris Youngblood, Ajay Mitchell, Malevy Leons and even Jazian Gortman putting up big numbers on offense. And to be clear, we don’t have that same offensive prowess from the Magic.
The Magic enter this one without a win in Summer League action. They’ve also failed to crack 90 points in a game, which will be a problem against this Thunder squad. Tristan da Silva and Jase Richardson seem to be their go-tos for offense, but a big portion of that is coming from the free throw line. I see the Thunder staying disciplined in this one and easily covering the spread.
Best Bet: Thunder -4.5 (-125)
