The only All-Star Game worth watching in professional sports goes down on Tuesday night in Atlanta’s Truist Park – the MLB All-Star Game. With it being held in the Braves’ home park, that means it’s a home game for the National League.
Two aces, naturally, will be starting the game – the Pittsburgh Pirates’ Paul Skenes for the National League, and the Detroit Tigers’ Tarik Skubal for the visiting American League.
Not only did the American League win Monday’s Home Run Derby – I’m betting on them winning the big game on Tuesday night, as well. I like the power and top-level talent in their lineup a bit more than the National League’s roster. Plus, for what it’s worth (probably nothing other than supporting my argument here), the American League holds a lifetime record of 48-44-2 in the history of the All-Star Game.
