UFC FIGHT NIGHT: LEWIS VS TEIXEIRA (AKA UFC NASHVILLE)

Third from the top on Saturday night is a featherweight bout between Calvin Kattar and Steve Garcia that I have earmarked for Fight of the Night honors. Garcia is a madman in the cage, always going for the knockout. And grizzled veteran Kattar is rarely, if ever, in a boring fight.
But the reason Kattar is rarely in a boring fight is that he’s willing to take a beating. And while his durability has been his best feature, he’s getting up there in age, and the damage is piling up. He also hasn’t won a fight in over three years (four straight losses). While predicting Garcia to score his sixth straight knockout might be a step too far, I do think he’ll inflict enough damage to win this fight via decision. And we’re getting him at what could be a steal of a number.
