The NBA Summer League continues on in San Francisco on Sunday. There are just two games this evening, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a spot where we can make some money. We’ve got a pick for the late game tonight and you’re not going to want to miss it. Here’s my NBA Summer League prediction and best bet for Saturday, July 6th.
NBA Summer League Predictions & Preview For July 6th
San Antonio Spurs vs Golden State Warriors
Start Time: 6:30 PM EST
The Spurs line opened as 2.5-point favorites, but quickly swung to the side of Golden State. I’m not really sure why that is, but we’ll take it. When looking at the rosters for these two, neither is really sporting all that many veterans looking to get some work in. However, one does have the much more notable prospects on their squad, and that’s the Spurs.
The Warriors had just a pair of draft picks in this year’s draft. They took exciting Australian prospect Alex Toohey and Will Richard – both late in the second round. Neither of them were able to suit up in the first game due to their trade not technically being final. There’s no word yet if they’ll be able to go in this one.
The Spurs, meanwhile, have a pair of lottery picks on their roster. Number two pick, Dylan Harper, and number 14 pick, Carter Bryant, both are listed. The Spurs were blown out in the first game, but that was without Harper on the court at all. A groin injury kept him off the court, and there’s no word if he might be good for Sunday’s action. If he is, they’d have a solid scorer to pair with Jameer Nelson Jr. and should help cash this moneyline.
Best Bet: San Antonio Spurs ML (+110)
