Baseball continues to be very, very good to me, as I’ve hit four straight daily best bets, mostly on the back of baseball plays. And I plan on keeping it going tomorrow. For my best bet for Friday, June 20th: MLB Predictions, we’re off to Oracle Park in San Francisco for the start of an interleague series between a couple of recent trade partners. Let’s go!
Best Bet For Friday (June 20th): MLB Prediction
Boston Red Sox vs San Francisco Giants
Start Time: 10:15 PM EST
While it’s not fully known if the Boston Red Sox are punting on their season, they did trade their franchise player (a habit of theirs), Rafael Devers, to the same San Francisco Giants team that they’ll be starting a three-game interleague series with on Friday. While they may still try to win this season, at the very least, the Red Sox have put themselves behind the eight ball for the next three games.
Even if this series doesn’t turn into the Rafael Devers Revenge Tour, the Giants are the better team in this matchup, ever so slightly. But that gets a big boost considering the game is being played in San Francisco, where the Giants are a very strong 23-13 (the Red Sox are 17-20 on the road). Add in the slightly better starting pitcher tomorrow (Hayden Birdsong vs Hunter Dobbins), and I like the Giants to have the home crowd leaving Oracle Park happy on Friday night.
