Two Prop Bets for NBA Finals Game 6

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Indiana Pacers

Tipoff – June 19th, 8:30 pm EST
Gainbridge Fieldhouse – Indianapolis, IN
Broadcast – ABC

While the lines on the big names in this series are the ones that draw the action, the real gold has been on the bench in gold. The Pacers and Rick Carlisle love working with a deep bench. Game 5 again saw three different Indiana players get at least 20 minutes of burn. As a result, there are a lot of overs in play for those guys – especially as we move home for Game 6.

One name that I really like in this one is T.J. McConnell. He went off in Game 5 and likely solidified even more minutes in the elimination game. In 22 minutes of playing time, he got off 14 shots and went for 18 points.

The volume hasn’t been that good all series, but it’s been solid. He’s taken at least seven shots in each of the last four games. His line sits at just 9.5 points, which he’s been over in three of those four contests. As long as he sees seven or so shots in this one, he should be good for another over.

Prop Bet #1: T.J. McConnell Over 9.5 Points (-140)

While I’ve been loving the Pacers bench, we are going to go to the front of the rotation for this one. Everybody and their cousins are worried about the calf strain on Tyrese Haliburton. While I too am interested to see how he’s going to be able to go in Game 6, I have a way that I know I’m approaching it.

We know he’ll be on the court. He’d have to have his leg amputated to not make it, and even then it would be questionable. However, I imgaine he won’t be able to create as many shots for himself as a result of the injury. So, I’m looking to see an uptick in his assists for this one.

They’ve got him listed at 6.5 for this contest. He’s been over that in two of his last three, and he hasn’t missed this projection by more than a half all series.

Prop Bet #2: Tyrese Haliburton Over 6.5 Assists (-135)
