My WNBA picks this season haven’t gotten off to the greatest start, but as more games are played and more data is compiled, I expect business to pick up like it did this past NBA season. Here are your WNBA predictions and preview for Friday, June 6th.

Atlanta Dream vs Connecticut Sun

Start Time – 7:30 PM EST

The Connecticut Sun were expected to stink this season, and boy, they have not disappointed, as they’re off to a 1-6 record, second-worst in the WNBA. And the advanced stats have them ranked dead last by a wide margin, over 14 points worse per game than the “average” team.

The Atlanta Dream, meanwhile, are a solid 5-2, including 3-1 away from home. My line for tomorrow night is Atlanta -14.5 (they won by 24 when they played earlier this season), so the Dream on the spread is the play.

Best Bet: Atlanta -9.5 (+100)

Los Angeles Sparks vs Dallas Wings

Start Time – 9:30 PM EST

I mentioned the Sun had the second-worst record in the league. Introducing the worst team, coming in at 1-7, the Dallas Wings! And they’ll still be without their rookie star Paige Bueckers tomorrow night when the Los Angeles Sparks come to town.

At 2-6, things aren’t going so well for the Sparks, either. I do have them as the favorite tomorrow night, though, lining this up as Los Angeles -0.5. However, with no Bueckers in the lineup, I think the Sparks cover the 1.5-point spread we’re getting.

Best Bet: Los Angeles -1.5 (-120)
