MMA Underdog Pick of the Week: UFC Vegas 107
UFC FIGHT NIGHT: BLANCHFIELD VS BARBER (AKA UFC VEGAS 107)
Main Card Start Time: 9:00 PM EST – (ESPN/ESPN+)
Saturday’s co-main event promises to be a good one, pitting Mateusz Gamrot against Ludovit Klein in a lightweight bout. And I’m in on the Slovakian, Klein.
“Mr Highlight” is on a hot run, winning four straight fights and going undefeated in his last seven. While he isn’t as strong a grappler as Gamrot is (few are), he is good on the ground and a good scrambler. But, most importantly, he’s the better and more dangerous striker in this matchup. With his combo of striking and grappling, I think he’s worth a stab at plus money.
