Oklahoma City Thunder vs Minnesota Timberwolves

Start Time – 8:30 PM EST

What started off my losing streak was the Minnesota Timberwolves absolutely blowing the doors off of the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3. But the Thunder ALWAYS cover the spread, right?! We can still count on death and taxes as certains, but Game 3 has given me reason to question the Thunder on the spread.

Yet, I’m going back to it regardless for Game 4. We can’t let one game overshadow a whole season’s worth of data and proof that the Thunder are heads and shoulders above the rest of the league. Unless you think that Minnesota will shoot 57% again in Game 4 and hit 20 for 40 from deep, in which case our bet will be in trouble. But I don’t see that happening, with the Thunder’s defensive acumen and depth.

Hopefully, losing by 42 points will serve as a wake-up call for the Thunder, and they’ll be back to their dominant selves tomorrow night. My line for the game is Oklahoma City -5, so the Thunder on the spread is my best bet for Monday.
