Carolina Hurricanes vs Florida Panthers
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
The defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers look untouchable the deeper these playoffs get. They’ve outscored the Carolina Hurricanes in their Eastern Conference Finals series 16-2 over the first three games, never scoring less than five goals in a game (five, five, and six). Now they can finish off the Hurricanes tomorrow, kick their feet up, and watch the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars beat each other up to determine who’ll face them in the finals.
And I expect the Panthers to get the job done tomorrow night. Not only is Florida at home, but Carolina looks like they have no answers for them on offense or defense, as the 16-2 goal differential mentioned above shows. Plus, the Hurricanes have now dropped five of six games to the Panthers this season.
The Florida Panthers on the moneyline (which is getting increasingly wider with each victory) is my best bet for Monday.
