Edmonton Oilers vs Dallas Stars
Start Time: 8:00 PM EST
If the Dallas Stars are to avoid losing in the Western Conference Finals for a third straight year, they’ll have to first conquer a familiar foe – the Edmonton Oilers. The high-flying Oilers booted the Stars out of the playoffs last season, one step away from the Stanley Cup Finals.
At the very least, I like the Stars’ chances to get an earlier lead in the series by winning tomorrow at home. They are lights out at the American Airlines Center this season, winning six of seven games on their home ice. They also took two out of three against the Oilers in the regular season, including the only home game they had against them. Dallas on the moneyline kicks off our winning parlay.
We’re pairing that up with a play on the under. Edmonton may be best known for their high-powered offense and suspect goaltending, but they’ve been playing low scoring games lately. And Dallas is consistently under the 6.5 goals we’re getting the line at.
