Well, the New York Knicks certainly didn’t cover the spread for me tonight like I had hoped, now did they? Oklahoma City Thunder vs Denver Nuggets

Start Time – 8:30 PM EST

We’ve only got one game on the NBA Playoffs schedule tomorrow, but this game deserves our undivided attention anyhow. That’s because the winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets playoff matchup could very well be our next NBA Champion.

Despite a Herculean effort from Nikola Jokic in Game 5 (44 points, 15 rebounds, five assists), the Thunder took a 3-2 series lead with a 112-105 victory on their home floor. The Nuggets had nothing left to give in the fourth quarter, and the Thunder put their foot on their necks.

Now the Nuggets are back home in Denver with their backs against the wall. My line for this game if it were played in the regular season would be Oklahoma City -4.5, but with this being do-or-die, I don’t think Jokic will let his team get eliminated on their home floor. The Nuggets plus the points at home is my play for tomorrow.
