St. Louis Blues vs Winnipeg Jets
Start Time: 7:00 PM EST
Are the Winnipeg Jets, the top team in the NHL this season, really going to do this to their fans again this postseason?! Despite strong regular seasons the past two years, the Jets were ceremoniously dumped out in the first round of the playoffs in each. Now they face the same fate this year, pushed to a Game 7 by an inferior team, the St. Louis Blues.
Vezina front-runner Connor Hellebuyck is having the playoff yips once again, top-line center Mark Scheifele is questionable for the game, but at least the Jets are at home. They’ve won every game this series that they’ve hosted, and were the second-best home team during the regular season. And Scheifele was back on the ice during the off day, so it’s hoped he’ll be back tomorrow night. I’m going with Winnipeg on the moneyline for tomorrow, but it’s sweaty.
