Colgate +32.5 at Kentucky
Yes, I know what you’re thinking: fading one of the better teams in the country at home doesn’t seem like the best choice. My thinking is that this is simply too many points for a team coming off a thrilling overtime win. I don’t think the Wildcats will get up for a team that is 2-8 and plays in the Patriot League, especially when they are the home team.
Not to mention, final exams are coming up for many of these collegiate athletes. You would have to think that when you’re a dominant squad, facing a team that is inferior to you, you take your foot off the gas quite a bit, especially when you have been preoccupied with studying all week. Colgate is also 3-1 against the spread as road underdogs this season. I think they’ll be able to keep it within his huge number.
