College Basketball Picks December 10
Tennessee -14.5 vs. Miami
The new number-one team in the country will play the Hurricanes in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Tennessee is a slow-paced squad that aims to lock down the other team with its smothering defense. The Volunteers are 8-0, yet they haven’t exactly been battle-tested in 2024. The better and more important stat is that they are 7-1 against the spread.
Jim Larrañaga’s squad has not had the same success this season. After starting the year with three wins, the Hurricanes have lost their last six games. While Miami’s offense is quite formidable, their defense is one of the worst in the entire country. They are 2-7 against the spread this season. I think Tennessee dominates in this one.
