JT Toppin Higher Than 7.5 Rebounds
The Wyoming Cowboys head to Lubbock, TX to face Texas Tech, and that means JT Toppin should grab plenty of boards. The Cowboys just allowed Tennessee State big man Ahmir Langlais to grab 11 boards a few days ago.
JT Toppin picked up eight rebounds against Bethune-Cookman in the season opener, and seven rebounds against Northwestern State. However, he was under 28 minutes played in both games. Toppin should play closer to 30 minutes against Wyoming, and the extended run should help him clear 7.5 rebounds against a team that struggled against a Tennessee State big.
Make sure you’ve got JT Toppin to go higher on his rebounds total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 13.
Andrej Stojakovic Higher Than 12.5 Points
The California Golden Bears head to Nashville, TN to face Vanderbilt tonight. That should mean a lot of points for Cal forward Andrej Stojakovic.
Vanderbilt just played SEMO, and the Redhawks went 12-for-25 from beyond the arc. Stojakovic has struggled from three in his first two games with the Golden Bears, but he shot 32.7% on three-pointers last year. He’s still averaged 15.5 points per game despite struggling from long range.
Stojakic should bang in a few three’s, and he’ll compile his way to more than 12.5 points against the Commodores. Go higher on his points total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 13.
D.J. Wagner Lower Than 11.5 Points
This is essentially a system play. Arkansas point guard D.J. Wagner averaged 9.9 points per game with Kentucky last year. He only scored seven points against Lipscomb and eight points against Baylor.
Wagner doesn’t get to the free throw line enough to pad his stats. He’s also not much from beyond the arc. If Wagner isn’t getting layups, he’s not scoring. This is a little dangerous given that Toledo has given up points to opposing point guards this year, but Wagner’s usage rate just isn’t high enough.
There’s a chance that this play might get a little sweaty, but you’ll want to go lower on the points total for Wagner in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 13.
