Underdog Fantasy College Basketball Picks November 6

Dawson Garcia, Underdog Fantasy College Basketball November 6

College basketball doesn’t stop for anything, and as long as Underdog Fantasy has lines posted for a couple games, we’ll have plays. We’re in the middle of the non-conference schedule, and we’ll need to be smart. Some teams don’t mind playing their regulars. Others look to keep minute loads a bit lower until they get into their conference games. Either way, we’ve got three plays that you need to know about for your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 6.

Keep in mind that playing all three legs of our plays in Underdog Fantasy could win you 6X your money on a single entry.

Steven Jamerson Lower Than 10.5 Rebounds

San Diego opens their season against Rider, and that present a tough match up for Toreros big man Steven Jamerson. Rider has a trio of big bodies that they can throw at Jamerson to keep him off the glass, including 7’2″, 230 lbs. center, Alaaeddine Boutayeb.

Second, Jamerson averaged 8.1 rebounds last year, and only went higher than 10.5 rebounds in five out of 26 games played last year. Given the match up and Jamerson’s history, we’ve got a number that is a little higher than it should be, and you’ll want to go lower on this rebounds total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for November 6th.

Ryan Kalkbrenner Higher Than 6.5 Rebounds

Creighton opens its 2024-25 season against the UTRGV Vaqueros, and you’ll want to go higher on Blue Jays center Ryan Kalkbrenner’s rebounds total.

Kalkbrenner probably won’t play more than 25 minutes in the season opener. However, the Vaqueros were a really mediocre rebounding team last year. Kalkbrenner averaged 7.6 rebounds last year, and cleared 6.5 rebounds in 22 out of 35 games during the 2023-24 season.

UTRGV opened their season against Nebraska a few days ago, and the Vaqueros got out-rebounded 42-32. Nebraska big man Berke Buyuktuncel racked up six board in 27 minutes. Kalkbrenner is a much better rebounder, and has a ton more experience. He shoul play around 25 minutes, and have no issue going higher than 6.5 rebounds in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Dawson Garcia Higher Than 9.5 Rebounds+Assists

Minnesota starts their 2024-25 college basketball season with Oral Roberts. Golden Gophers forward Dawson Garcia should absolutely eat against the Golden Eagles.

First of all, Garcia played his normal workload in just about every one of Minnesota’s non-conference schedule last year. Second, he went higher than 9.5 rebounds and assists in four of his first five non-conference games in the 2023-24 season. That included a 14-rebound, six-assist game against Bethune Cookman.

Oral Roberts was a mediocre rebounding team last year. The Golden Eagles have some size, but they lack experience, and it doesn’t appear that they have an athlete capable of keeping Garcia off the glass.

Garcia should play 30+ minutes and he should clear 9.5 rebounds and assists with ease.
