An NFC South battle takes place in Carolina as the New Orleans Saints look to snap their six-game losing streak. The good need for the Saints is the return of Derek Carr under center. Meanwhile, the Panthers continue to be the worst team in the league. Earlier this week, the Panthers traded Diontae Johnson to the Ravens in exchange for draft picks. Can the Saints snap their losing streak? Below are my Saints at Panthers Preview and Predictions.
As I mentioned above, the Saints see the return of Derek Carr and it couldn’t be a more welcoming site. The Saints are in the midst of a six-game losing streak. However, the Saints continue to deal with plenty of injuries. As of Friday, the Saints will be without Marshon Lattimore, Bub Means, and Kendre Miller.
For the Panthers, Bryce Young returned under center last week after Andy Dalton injured his thumb. The Panthers lock to head with another top pick in the upcoming NFL draft as the future of Bryce Young continues to loom as part of the Panther organization.

Best Bets
This is the ultimate spot for the Saints to snap their losing streak. These two teams met in Week 1 in New Orleans as the Saints dismantled the Panthers 47-10. Derek Carr is 5-0 SU and 3-1-1 ATS against the Panthers in his career. As I mentioned above, the Panthers traded Diontae Johnson earlier this week and have listed Adam Thielen as doubtful.
I expect the rushing attack led by Alvin Kamara to have a big day here against the Panthers’ lack of rush defense. Since last season, the Panthers at home are 2-9 SU and 3-7-1 ATS. I expect the Saints to come out fast in this game and control it all the way thru to an easy victory.
Best Bet: Saints -7

Alvin Kamara Over 15.5 Rush Attempts
Opposing teams continue to find success against the Panther on the ground. In fact, teams are averaging 28 rushing attempts per game against the Panthers. Furthermore, four out of the last five running backs the Panthers have faced have gone over this projection. Alvin Kamara did fall one rush attempt short in Week 1 against the Panthers. However, with this being Carr’s first game back, I would expect more of an emphasis in the ground game.
