Daily NBA Player Props – October 24th
Trae Young – Over 21.5 Points (-110)
Young has really taken a distribution role for the Wizards in the early part of their season. He’s racked up at least a dozen assists in both of their games. However, this game lends itself to seeing more scoring from him. The Bulls have given up an average of 130.0 points per game in their first two and a lot of that has come from beyond the arc. The Bucks hit 19 three-pointers against them on Friday, and now they’ll fly home to try to defend the arc against a man who tossed up double digit shots from their last game.
Yaxel Lendeborg – Over 7.5 Rebounds (+106)
Landeborg took over the boards for the Warriors in their second game of the season. He waxed glass for a game-high 13 rebounds with nearly an even split on the offensive and defense side. Now he’s got a matchup with a team that has virtually no presence down low. The Suns had just one player over four rebounds in their first game – Khaman Maluach, who had just six. They pulled down less than 40% of the rebounds in the game, which will likely be a problem for this team until Mark Williams returns.
Tyler Herro – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (-132)
It’s a little chalky for my taste, but the three-point prop for Tyler Herro seems set unreasonably low. Over the first two games, Herro has tossed up 21 from beyond the arc and has made 47.4% of them. He’s well over this mark in each of those games. Without Giannis Antetokounmpo in the lineup, he’s had to take the reins. While Philadelphia is a tough defensive team, you have to imagine the Bucks will be playing catch-up here and need to try to shoot their way back in.
