Football Pick of the Day (October 22nd): NFL Week 7 Spread Pick
New England Patriots vs Chicago Bears
8:15pm – Thursday – October 22nd
We already gave out a prop and a total for Thursday Night Football, so let’s get you a winner against the spread as well.
As I’ve outlined prior, I really like the Bears offense with Caleb Williams under center. Make the jokes that you want about his hamstring injury, but the team averages 45.0 points per game in games that he starts and finishes. He activates whatever they have for wide receivers and makes the running backs around him all look like Pro Bowlers.
The Patriots have been hot lately too though. I won’t discount the turnaround we’ve seen from Drake Maye in the last few weeks. However, I have big questions about their run game. They lack a clear lead back and their best option last week was a guy with 43 career carries – Corey Kiner.
Add in that Patriots are decimated by injuries on their offensive line and with their defensive backs. That should emphasize the problems we’ve seen from them and heighten the successes we’re seeing from the Bears.
NFL Spread Pick (October 22nd): Chicago Bears -3 (-102)
