The Braves and Dodgers helped us stay hot with another NRFI hit on Tuesday. We’ll look to keep the momentum in tact here on Wednesday. We have some NRFI bets for October 7th.
Plenty of teams are facing elimination on Wednesday, which means all the big guns will come out on the mound. Come check out what we have cooked up for this slate of games.

MLB NRFI and YRFI Picks – October 7th
Cleveland Guardians vs. Chicago White Sox
First Pitch – 4:00 pm EST
Rate Field – Chicago, IL
Broadcast – TBS
Wednesday, we’ll look to get back on some YRFI action as well. The White Sox will send out Sean Newcomb, who looked good throwing two days prior – but he did throw two days prior. Cleveland saw him well in their last meeting in September when they hung two runs on him without a single out. In fact, if you take his appearances against the divisional rival during the year, he put up a 6.35 ERA.
If Newcomb doesn’t surrender a run, I like the chances of the White Sox getting one for themselves. Daniel Espino gets the ball for the Guardians and he hasn’t exactly been sharp lately. He’s allowed 4 earned runs in his last 4.0 innings pitched. Not only that, he’s walked three in that span as well. With the White Sox showing plenty of pop at the beginning of their order, this is a YRFI we want to be a part of.
NRFI/YRFI Bet for October 7: Yes (-105)
Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees
First Pitch – 8:00 pm EST
Yankee Stadium – Bronx, NY
Broadcast – TBS
We’ll get back to our NRFI ways when Max Fried toes the rubber. He got hit around by the Rays a bit in his last regular season start, but you have to like what you’ve seen from the three-time All Star. He’s put up a 2.80 ERA on the year and fanned nearly a batter an inning. He hammered the Red Sox during the first start of his post-season. With the Rays being merely a league average team in the first inning, he should be able to put up a goose egg.
We’re also ready to fade the Yankees in the early parts of the game. They ranked 23rd in the majors when it comes to scoring in the first inning this year. Without Aaron Judge, they are missing a bit of that signature pop at the top of the order, which should make things easier for Nick Martinez. The Rays righty put up a top 15 ERA in the majors this season and just gave us a NRFI against the Yankees two starts ago. Let’s replicate it here and cash this one.
NRFI/YRFI Bet for October 7: No (-130)
Bonus Pick: Braves/Dodgers NRFI (-145)
Looking to put together a three-pick parlay? This extra play may just be the piece that you’re looking for. Throw it together with the other two to net a three-pick parlay for +483.
