The NFL pretty much always rules the sports world roost, but tomorrow is especially the case. Baseball diamonds will be silent as the MLB takes a day off before the playoffs kick off on Tuesday. The WNBA Playoffs are also taking a breather tomorrow before resuming on Tuesday. And who cares about preseason hockey, even up here in Canada?! Philadelphia Eagles vs Chicago Bears
Start Time: 8:15 PM EST
The NFC takes center stage tomorrow as the NFC East’s Philadelphia Eagles visit the Windy City to face the Chicago Bears of the NFC North. The Eagles are all systems go, having won their first two games. The Bears have split their first two and face a big hurdle tomorrow with starting quarterback Caleb Williams out with a hamstring strain and backup Tyson Bagent having just cleared concussion protocol.
Even with third-string QB Case Keenum taking the snaps, I’m going with Chicago on the spread tomorrow. Philadelphia has the worst strength of schedule rating in the league in the early going, and just snuck past the Tennessee Titans and Washington Commanders. Plus, the Bears killed the Eagles on the ground last time they met, so Keenum just has to hand the ball off to be successful on Monday night.
