MMA Same Game Parlay of the Week: UFC Sacramento
UFC Sacramento Lightweight Fight: MarQuel Mederos vs Mason Jones
Start Time: 5:00pm EST (Paramount+)
On the main card, we have a pair of lightweights who aren’t afraid to go to war. Both Mason Jones and MarQuel Mederos aren’t afraid to slug it out a bit and we’re going to use that to build a plus-money parlay.
We’ll start with MarQuel Mederos, who has let them fly in each of his UFC bouts. Over four fights, he has averaged 81.5 significant strikes landed per fight. Some of that is due to the fact that they have all gone to distance, but that’s also a positive sign. He’s gone for at least 55 significant strikes in three of the four fights, and that’s a good starting point for this play.
Mason Jones is no stranger to action either. He’s landed at least 65 strikes in two of his three fights since returning to the organization – with an average of 82.7. The only fight that he came in under that number was when he knocked out Bolaji Oki. Being that Mederos always seems to go to the judges, I think we can count on the same here and another big total for Jones.
