For the first time in history, the UFC octagon is setting up shop in Serbia this weekend for a Fight Night event. A native son is in the main event, going up against a fighter just sprung from a Mexican prison. Sometimes these things happen in MMA. For my MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Belgrade, I’m parlaying my favorite two plays for the event. Let’s get it on, c’mon!

MMA Parlay of the Week: UFC Belgrade
UFC Fight Night: Medic vs Rodriguez (aka UFC Belgrade)
Start Time: 10:00 AM EST
Both halves of my parlay are from the prelims – a featherweight fight and a heavyweight one. First, for the 145-pound one, I like Bogdan Grad to beat Dennis Buzukja. Grad has the knockout power on his side and is the superior grappler.
I already was in on debuting heavyweight Jovan Leka before Friday’s weigh-ins, and now that I see he’ll be at least 47.5 pounds heavier than fellow debutant Alexander Poppeck, I like Leka even more. The much younger (by 10 years) and bigger Leka should cruise in this fight – I like him to finish it inside the distance.
