A native son is in the main event, going up against a fighter just sprung from a Mexican prison. Sometimes these things happen in MMA. UFC Fight Night: Medic vs Rodriguez (aka UFC Belgrade)
Main Card Start Time: 1:00 PM EST
Another international Fight Night means another earlier start time this weekend. And we’ve got another main event with wide odds, but this week it’s a tad bit closer.
The local fighter alluded to above would be Uros Medic, the knockout machine who has won 11 of his 13 fights via knockout, including three straight. His opponent, who just got done spending eight months in a Mexican prison after having weed on him while trying to cross the border, is Daniel Rodriguez.
Medic is the obvious pick here, as he’s the younger fighter, has immense power on the feet, and won’t be having to shake off “jail rust” inside the cage.
