Ask Smalls Anything: Jaxson Dart, Sweaty Balls and Stupid Greek Yogurt

MYBOOKIE BONUS

The newest Ask Smalls Anything episode opens with Ryan McKee back from Europe, where he ate his way through Italy, walked ten miles a day in Prague, and performed standup with comics from around the world. Naturally, this somehow leads to Stephie Smalls discussing old-world family grudges, hallway cats, a dog named Boots, and whether New York apartment buildings are just petting zoos with rent.

Then the episode gets to the real villain of modern society: Greek yogurt pretending to be cake.

Stephie takes aim at the fitness-influencer fantasy that fat people would happily replace cookies and cake with a cup of caramel apple pie Greek yogurt and simply become shredded little discipline goblins. Her official position: yogurt is not cake, no one is bringing a candle to a birthday yogurt, and protein marketing has gotten completely out of hand.

From there, the show swerves back into sports. Stephie and Ryan answer listener questions about Ludvig Åberg’s struggles, Sunday golf meltdowns, Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, and why Giants hype still feels oddly underpriced in fantasy and futures markets. They also preview the upcoming NFL team-by-team episodes, starting from the lowest win totals, which means Ryan is immediately forced to confront the emotional sinkhole known as Arizona Cardinals optimism.

The listener questions go exactly where Ask Smalls Anything questions tend to go: off a cliff, wearing a tiny propeller hat. The episode covers whether it is weird to keep exes’ nudes, what advice Stephie would give people in their 20s, why men are constantly adjusting themselves during sweaty ball season, which World Cup fans are the hottest, and how many likes it would take for Book of Chew to get Stephie to a Chicago baseball game.

It is part sports show, part group chat, part public-health warning about fake dessert. Follow The Stephie Smalls Show on Spotify, leave a rating/review, and send your question for next week’s Ask Smalls Anything at speakpipe.com/stephiesmalls.
