Daily NBA Player Props – June 8th
Dylan Harper – Over 5.5 Rebounds (-105)
We cashed on this line in Game 2 and the books picked the number up a bit. Despite that, I still love the looks for Harper pulling down a half of a dozen boards. He hasn’t been under that total since Game 4 of the series with the Thunder. That gives him five straight overs of this number and he’s averaging 7.0 over his last three games. The road might prove a bit harder for him, but six should still be well within his grasp.
Landry Shamet – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+191)
We’re going with a little of the “If it’s not broke, don’t fix it” mentality. Shamet was not only money from deep in Game 2, but we saw an uptick in the amount of attempts that he’s getting. He’s averaging 6.5 attempts per game in this series and now has hit this in four straight games. I’m sure he won’t keep this up for the entire series, but at nearly 2-to-1, you have to get down with him again.
Victor Wembanyama – Over 27.5 Points (-107)
I know that the Knicks seem to have locked up the alien for the early part of this series. Even with this gameplan to shut Wemby down, he still managed to hit the over in Game 2. On the road and already in a 2-0 hole, his back is against the wall. He’s been making claims about how he should have been the MVP and how he’s the best in the league. With a mentality like that, you know he’s going to be putting up the attempts in this one to get the over.
