Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs
Start Time – 8:00 PM EST
The phrase “war of attrition” is often used to describe playoff action in the sports world, and that is what the NBA’s Western Conference Finals have become. First, the San Antonio Spurs depth was tested (and failed) with the absences of De’Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper (who both returned in Game 3’s loss); now the Oklahoma City Thunder’s renowned depth is being put to the test.
The Thunder’s Jalen Williams is questionable to play tomorrow with a bad hamstring, but the team is used to him missing action this season. More concerning is the confirmed absence of Ajay Mitchell with a calf strain, which is one of those NBA injuries, like hamstrings, that seem to be day-to-day for weeks.
So I figured I’d be in on the Spurs on the spread tomorrow, given all these developments. However, my line is only San Antonio -2, so I still like the Thunder to cover if not outright win Game 4 at the Frost Bank Center.
