Daily NBA Player Props – May 19th
Jarret Allen – Over 7.5 Rebounds (-116)
If you look at the way that Cleveland closed out the last series, you’ll see Allen’s name all over the stat sheet. After having a couple of lackluster games on the boards early against Detroit, he closed 25 rebounds in his last three games (8.3 per game). He also had success late in the season against the Knicks. Back in February, when the teams last faced each other, he pulled down double figures in a Cavaliers victory.
Josh Hart – Under 8.5 Rebounds (-121)
It’s crazy to me that the books think that Hart will outrebound Allen. For one, he was terrible against Cleveland this year on the boards. In needed two games to hit the over on this line, and even then he just barely did with nine total rebounds. He’s just 2-4 against this line in his last six games and I have a tough time imagining that the bigs of the Cavaliers are going to let him in there.
James Harden – Over 19.5 Points (-102)
So Harden definitely through up a dud for us in Game 7 in terms of the scoring. However, if we look at Games 4-6 in that last series, he was averaging 25.7 points per game and was a perfect 3-0 against this line. Additionally, he never failed to crack 20 points in a game against New York this season – so let’s get him back on track with another in Game 1.
