Daily NBA Player Props – April 24th
Jayson Tatum – Over 40.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-123)
The projection for Tatum has finally gone up – at least a little bit. For the first two games of this series, he has been sitting at 39.5 PRA on the projection. He put up 43 and 42 in those two games respectively and now gets it bumped up a little. I’m not worried about him being able to repeat the feat. He’s been over 10.5 rebounds in nine of his last 11 games. Additionally, he is 8-1 at scoring at least 23 points over his last nine. If those are his floors, we’re only looking at needing 7 dimes to cash this. He’s only missed that number once this month.
VJ Edgecombe – Over 15.5 Points (-115)
Some might see this play and think that I’m just riding high on Edgecombe’s 30-point game. However, I was in on his points over in that game as well. That game also moved him to 5-3 against this line in his last eight games. While the return of Joel Embiid might slow the scoring of Edgecombe a bit, I still think there will be enough scoring at home for the both of them.
Marcus Smart – Over 5.5 Assists (+135)
With Luka Doncic out of commission, Marcus Smart has really taken the reins as thekey distributor for the Lakers. He’s dished out seven and eight dimes repectively in the two games of this series. The Lakers have relied heavily on their starting five to log a lot of minutes in the playoffs. Smart has logged at least 34 minutes in both games. That should give him plenty of chances to find a half dozen more.
