NBA Predictions & Preview For Thursday, April 2nd

Los Angeles Lakers vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

We’ve got a short slate of games in the NBA tomorrow, with only 12 teams in action. However, one of those teams is the Los Angeles Lakers, so we have at least one game with a guaranteed playable spread.

That’s because the Lakers continue to be overrated, and I continue to make money off of that. Even when they are facing the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on the road, the spread is too close. My line is Oklahoma City -12, so the champs laying the points is my play.

Best Bet: Oklahoma City -8.5 (-105)

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors

Start Time – 10:00 PM EST

This used to be the epic rivalry in the NBA – the Cleveland Cavaliers facing the Golden State Warriors every summer in the NBA Finals. Things done changed.

To say that the Warriors’ current injury list is extensive is an understatement. Golden State’s list has nine players on it, most notably Stephen Curry, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jimmy Butler. Yet, even after taking this into account, my line is only Cleveland -4.5, so the Warriors plus the points is the play.

Best Bet: Golden State +10.5 (-110)

2025/6 Overall Record: 169-133 (56%)
Profit (based on $100/bet): $1,889.48
Return on Investment: 6%
