#2 Michigan Wolverines vs #1 Texas Longhorns

It’s a good time to be a Michigan Wolverines basketball fan. Both the men’s and women’s teams are one win away from the Final Four, with the men playing in the Elite Eight as these words are being typed, and the ladies getting their shot tomorrow night in Texas.
The #2-ranked Wolverines will have a stiff test on their hands, as the top team in the region, the Texas Longhorns, stands in their way. And, you’d have to expect a partisan crowd in Fort Worth rooting the Longhorns on.
However, I like Michigan’s chances. Actually, to clarify, I don’t like their chances at going to the Final Four. However, since all we care about is gambling and winning money, I do like their chances on the spread.
After crunching the requisite numbers, my line for this game is Texas -7.5, so the Wolverines on the spread is my best bet for Monday.
