For my best bet for Sunday, March 29th: Elite Eight Predictions, we’re off to the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., for the East Region finals. Let’s get this money!

Best Bet For Sunday (March 29th): Elite Eight Predictions

#2 UConn Huskies vs #1 Duke Blue Devils

Start Time: 9:45 PM EST

Just like the game I broke down on Saturday, the West Region finals, the East Region is a matchup between the two best teams in the region, the #2-ranked UConn Huskies and the #1-ranked Duke Blue Devils. And while I predicted the #2 team to cover the spread, but the #1 team to win in that game, I’m going #1 all the way in the East.

The Blue Devils have all the advantages, on paper, in this matchup: advanced stats rank them higher than the Huskies, they’ve played a harder schedule, and they are a better-rated team on both offense and defense. And, as I hinted at above, I expect Duke to cover the spread here.

After doing my number crunching, my line for the East Region finals is Duke -7.5, so the Blue Devils are headed to the Final Four, and we’re taking them on the spread.
