Daily NBA Player Props – March 27th
Jarace Walker – Over 14.5 Points (-101)
Maybe it feels like the wrong part of the season to be getting in on Pacers scoring props, but Walker’s looks pretty safe for today. He has three straight games of beating this projection and has 18.7 points per game in that span. The Pacers do not have a ton of scorers, so it’s reasonable to believe he’ll continue to carry some of that load. While the Clippers are a solid defensive team, I do think he should be able to keep the streak alive.
Josh Giddey – Over 9.5 Assists (+116)
Giddey’s projection on assists has been sitting right around 12.5 for the last few weeks as he’s made distribution his primary goal. While a date with the Thunder is likely to surpress that, it shouldn’t be down in to single figures – particularly with how he’s looked lately. He has double digit assists in eight of his last nine games with a 12.4 average in that span. He had just nine in the last game with the Thunder, but that was before he shifted his focus. Expect him to squeeze at least one more out in this one.
Nikola Jokic – Over 13.5 Rebounds (-109)
Jokic has been busy on the stat sheet while making his final showing for the MVP award. Over his last three games, he’s putting up 17.3 rebounds per game and has never been below 14. Now he gets the Jazz, who have a front court in absolute shambles. Walker Kessler, Jaren Jackson Jr, Jusuf Nurkic, Lauri Markkanen – they are all out today and even Kyle Filipowski is questionable. There is likely nobody, outside of other Nuggets, who is going to pull rebounds from Jokic.
