Daily NBA Player Props – February 12th
Jaren Jackson Jr. – Over 20.5 Points (-110)
Since moving over to the Jazz, Jackson has been heating up. Although he is putting up just 19.4 points per game on the season, he has scored at least 22 points per game for Utah. He’s also been over this total in four straight overall. Portland and their 23rd ranked defense comes to town on Thursday. Not only are they bad on the season, but they allowed 133 last time out and 122.0 per game over their last three.
Luguentz Dort – Over 2.5 Three-Pointers (+185)
While I know we are stretching this prop out a bit, I love the line on Luguentz Dort to hit three from downtown on Thursday. Wth Shai Gilgeous-Alexander out and Jalen Williams possibly missing the game too, they’ll be looking for some additional scoring elsewhere. Dort is already 5-6 against this line in his last 11 games, and hit three against the Bucks the last time they played. Add in that Milwaukee is 28th in allowing three-pointers and we have a perfect storm.
Chet Holmgren – Over 9.5 Rebounds (+116)
Speaking of another perfect storm, the Bucks have been trash on the board this season – ranking 26th in the league in rebounding percentage. Holmgren, meanwhile, is 6-3 against this line in his last nine games. That includes one that he left early due to an injury, which puts him at a 75% hit rate when he plays the whole game.
